Learn something new! Join us! Become a Coastal Marine
Wildlife Observer!
Buzzards
Bay Coastal Expeditions proudly offers interested participants the opportunity to join us during
coastal marine wildlife surveys on Buzzards Bay aboard our Auxiliary USCG Vessel
Safety Checked (VSC) 40’ cabin cruiser.
We all have busy schedules! Provide us with your availability and we will do our best to schedule
your group at your convenience. Groups up to 6 participants are welcome.
We will
work as a team to collect data on various species of coastal wildlife sighted in Buzzards
Bay waters. As observers, we will gather
information for our observation network, including the marine sighting network
called NEBShark (www.NEBShark.org), a
project with NECWA (New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance) www.necwa.org.
As a coastal wildlife observer, you will form the foundation of our
marine wildlife reporting system. Your efforts will represent a network of
dedicated observers interested in the natural history and wildlife of coastal
New England. http://www.buzzardsbaycoastalexpeditions.com/resources.html
Help us protect the future of New
England’s coastal wildlife.
